Loch Ness Guest House has a rich and varied history dating from the 1800s. This beautiful granite stone-built Victorian residence, located in Fort Augustus in the stunning Scottish Highlands, dates back to the mid-1800s and reflects the character and splendour of that era. It is reputedly one of the oldest buildings in the village after the Abbey. It was once called Carnoch and was owned by the Lovat Hotel as an annexe for their main hotel. In the mid-1900’s it was a nursing home before becoming a guesthouse. The guest house was fully refurbished in 2014 and is furnished to a very high standard. Relax in the lounge and admire the view over to the Corrieyairack Pass and the Monaliadth Mountains.
